The Fremantle Amateur Angling Club is a BEACH and ROCK and ESTUARY recreational fishing club with a proud history. The Club was formed in Western Australia on 28th July 1958 and encourages a healthy competitive and yet social environment for all members to enjoy. The Club strongly promotes family participation the Club’s activities. For the novice, you can draw on the services of our more experienced club members. The Club has a dedicated Members Facilitator to assist new and existing members with their inquiry.
The Club caters for all types of angler; from novice to the well experienced. 12 Beach and Rock field days and 6 Estuary field days. With outings ranging from Kalbarri in the North to Albany in the South, it makes for a good relaxing weekend camping trip to some very interesting locations. The highlight of our field day calendar is undoubtedly Rottnest Island.
Our competitive record at State Championship identifies us as one of the most successful Clubs in Western Australia with representation in all divisions of Veterans, Mens, Ladies, Juniors and Mini-Juniors.
A wide variety of social events are held through out the year ranging from the casual BBQ, Crabbing Weekend, Ten Pin Bowling, Christmas party through to the main event which is our Annual Trophy Presentation and Dinner.
